If a game has a maximum win of 10,000x the bet amount, would you consider the game to be of high volatility or very high volatility? I would consider it to be of high volatility, at the very least, but not to Pragmatic Play though. Some of their games have strange volatility ratings, and I would even say that some of their maximum win claims are simply out of this world, possibly even impossible to achieve, so don’t be easily fooled by such huge claims!
Take this Sweet Bonanza game, for instance. The maximum possible win is indicated as a whopping 21,100x the bet amount, yet it carries only a medium volatility rating – it just doesn’t make sense, or seem right! Other game providers would certainly have rated such games as high volatility, or very high even, and this is one of the reasons why I always find it very hard to trust Pragmatic Play games!
In the first place, the paytable isn’t a good one at all, and the symbols don’t have high win values either. The Wild symbol only appears during the free spins, they are non-paying, but have multipliers of 2x up to 100x. When 2 or more Wild symbols combine to make a win, the multipliers would add up, and this is the only way to get nice big wins from this 6-reels 5-rows clusters-pay game.
